What happens when people from three countries, a bunch of methods and a room full of interaction meet in Vienna?
You get 2 very intense days of learning, experimenting and getting to know each other — and a minimum of over 50 edularp and urban game ideas. 🎲
As part of the Erasmus+ project „eduDanube“, Jugendagentur, Anthropolis and Waldritter spent 2 days in Vienna, the home base of Play:vienna. Together, we explored how playful and interactive methods can help us approach big questions: How do we experience democracy? How can we make sustainability or political systems tangible? And what happens when we start playing them?
There was plenty of serious thinking, but also a lot of fun: unexpected families, ideas trying to develop, a cockroach in Vienna’s 12th district and a lot of good vibes and laughter.
We’re taking home new ideas, have a better understanding of the methods „edularp“, „urban games“ and „global citizenship education“ as a team and lots of motivation for what comes next. Most of all, we’re excited to keep building eduDanube together and see where it takes us.
Thanks to everyone who played, shared, questioned, listened and contributed. ❤️
