Hands-Up! is a planned European cooperation project under Erasmus+, focusing on the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in youth information and youth-oriented communication.

At the core of the project is the joint development and implementation of a European campaign, designed to empower young people, support youth information providers and strengthen responsible, transparent and ethical AI practices in youth-related communication.

To build a strong and diverse consortium, we are currently seeking partner organisations from across Europe, particularly from the fields of youth information, youth communication, youth marketing and youth work.

Who we are looking for

We invite expressions of interest from organisations such as:

• Youth information centres and youth information networks
• Organisations specialising in youth communication, youth marketing or digital youth campaigns
• Youth work organisations running information, participation or empowerment formats
• Umbrella or network organisations with regional or national reach in the youth field

Thematic focus and expertise (desired)

Partner organisations ideally bring experience or active engagement in one or more of the following areas:

• Use of AI-supported tools in youth information, counselling or communication
• Media, digital or AI literacy for young people
• Ethical, legal and societal aspects of responsible AI use
• Development of youth-friendly information formats and campaigns
• Topics such as disinformation, algorithmic transparency, participation and democracy

Formal and strategic requirements

To ensure effective cooperation within the Erasmus+ framework, partner organisations should:

• have experience with Erasmus+ or EU-funded projects (or solid organisational capacity)
• possess stable organisational structures
• be well connected at national level within the youth sector
• be interested in collaborative, co-creative partnership work
• be willing to actively contribute to concept development, piloting, campaign implementation and dissemination
